Need Help Backing Up My Wii Games

I know this is my first post. I have been working on this myself for about 2 days now. I cant seem to back up 2 games that I have for my wii. I have a young son who plays alot but is very rough with my dics.

So I deciced to try and back them up so I can save my originals. I do have a homebrew wii already. I dont know much about it, I bought it from someone who said it was modded to play emulators and such. I know Im running

    Nintendo 4.2U

I saw that you could use DVD -R and Imgburn to back them up but I have no clue how to get the game to show up when I put it in my computer.

    The 2 games are

    Wii Sports
    Mario Kart Wii

My friend let me borrow one of his back ups and I played it through GammaLoader or something. Im not sure. So I know its capable of running back ups already.

Im sorry for the confusion Im just new and need some help..

I suggest going with Configurable USB Loader for compatibility.

Don't follow failtube. That was a mistake I made when I started. You can read about it in my sig if you feel like laughing at my pain some day.

After softmodding your Wii, you can plug a HDD into the USB port closest to the edge and backup/load your games with a USB loader. Only old Wii's can play backup discs. USB loading is much better because of speed and backup discs can wear down your lens.

You are jumping into the deep end of the pool right now. You need to learn how to swim first. I suggest you introduce yourself, then follow Softmod ANY Wii to resoftmod your Wii. I doubt it has the proper setup for USB loading.
