I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you simply saying can you do this legally? Probably not, but it depends on the laws of your country. The assumption being, you're asking can you play via USB HD for the duration of the rental period, wipe and return --- right? The save files would need to be removed via data management and the game itself via the reverse of however you install it.

borrow a game
copy it into my hard drive
return the game
then play the copied game i have and keep it
the thing i want to know is whether the returned game will have any traces or changes.
LOL wow, nightstah even went out of his way to try and help you not break the rules... If you don't own or have an original its piracy. So as soon as you return the game to it's owner you are suppose to remove your copy. I am sure you will get a link to the rules when they close this thread now.
