Tomb Raider Underworld disk not playing (2)

I posted 'Tomb Raider Underworld disk not playing' but the thread was closed.

I confirm I do own a ORIGINAL copy of the game. (The original is fairly scratched up thats why I want to use a duplicate copy) So if anyone can avise on why my copy disk is not working. I am using Neo Gamme R8 Beta 7 (v20)

    Thanks

Did your backup ever work? If you have a Wii with a new drive chip, it won't work.

Btw, you have a pretty old version of NeoGamma.
    NeoGamma R9 Beta 47 download on FileTrip.net - FileTrip

Thanks, i'll try NeoGamma 9. But I played Black Ops on my current version of Neo and that worked fine. So whats the deal with Tomb Raider?

It probably doesn't work with your version of 249. I suggest you get a HDD and play backups with Configurable USB Loader. You will be able to use other cIOS's than 249 that way. Config is the most stable loader available.

While HDD are expensive, buying new DVD-R's for ever backup you make costs money too. USB is faster, and you will be able to rip games to your HDD through Config. No more downloading backups. Trust me, it is worth it.

Tomb Raider is working on this version of Neo Gamma. How can I get Neo Gamma R9 beta 47 as a channel on my Wii?

Use a NeoGamma forwarder channel. There are a few on here that are supposed to be faster, but this one should work fine. You won't have to update the channel, since it just loads the version on your SD card.

Totally agree with this statement, use CFG, alot of people are trying and failing to use GX, although I don't know why. I went and bought a new HDD purely for my wii, set me back £30, I think about $40. Worth every penny though. No more discs to buy and no discs to get scratched!!!

It's funny actually coz I've been playing Underworld alot recently straight from my loader, works fine.

I tried installing Neo Gamma R9 Beta 47 - NGBT.wad but I get an error.

ERROR! (ret = -1029) Any ideas how to fix this and get the Neo 9 as a channel?

Where did you get a full channel wad? I gave you a link to a forwarder, which is what you should use. If you use a full channel, you won't be able to update it. You would have to install a new channel everytime a new version is released.
