I didnt know there was a difference, so I should run Neo from HBC and not install a channel to Wii?
Please explain as simply as possible. (I don't know how much more simple you could have been) But please try. :"

Lol, okay. There are two main types of channels:

Full Channel: The program and files are within the channel, so you don't need an SD card. However, that means you cannot easily update it. You would have to create and install a new channel every time you wanted to update. They are also much larger than forwarders.

Forwarder Channel: It is basically like a shortcut on your computer's desktop. The program is not part of the channel. All it does is search for the boot.dol in the SD card (and usually a USB drive), then launches it. Whenever you want to update, all you have to do is replace the old boot.dol in your SD card with the new one. They are much smaller than full channels.

There is also something called a "Hybrid Channel" which is a forwarder and full channel combined, but they are very large, and a forwarder should be enough.

The NeoGamma channel that I linked to searches here for the boot.dol:
    SD:/apps/NeoGamma/boot.dol

    NeoGammaR9beta47.zip

That link seems to contain the right files, also mediafire tends to have reliable downloads but I cannot be held responsible for any user error.

I already posted a link to FileTrip. It's the fastest to recieve NeoGamma updates. There is no need to post something that will be obsolete in a few days.

Just trying to help fella, and while I was searching you had put the link up so by the time my page refreshed I had realised that.
Mediafire is a good source as I use it alot.......it is all a matter of opinion.
No need for the attitude is there, like I say I was just trying to help somebody who seems unable to 'search'
