burnt wii iso to DVD-R, error loading the game

    HI,

I'm new here. I have successfully softmodded the wii following Dogeggs's instruction. I have also successfully burnt an iso to a DVD-R. When I put it in the wii, the game shows up, but when I choose to load the game, an "error occur".

Did I not burn the iso correctly? or I'm not supposed to load the game from the main menu but from the programs I've installed when I softmodded the wii?

    Thanks,
    tiacin

What error? You might want to check the error guide on here because it probably contains a solution.

The error message was "An error has occurred. Press the eject button, remove the game disk, and turn off the power to the console. Please read the Wii operations manual for further instructions."
Am I suppose to load the game with homebrew?

the problem was never really well described, but you got the same?
thread hijacking is a nono, maybe read some of the softmod basics link below.

    to the not described part:
original games should work without error in the discchannel.
backup discs are loaded with a software disc loader.
burned media can only be played on old white wiis.

Try using better media. I would suggest verbatim dvd-r. Burn using imgburn.
