Got it fixed easily by just reading and then : inserting the missing ios , you know what : AC worked. so keep trying ,

But why are some of you not reading ???, there is given a solution; are you B.... ? ( sorry ).

The forum will get dirty when some of you ( The minority ! -i hope. ) will keep posting like this: Over and over again the same questions, It's very hard for users that are willing to read, discuss etc etc. ( The majority ! I believe )

So listen, read to the Admiral and or other Mod's & Posters with solutions.
    Cheers
when i started getting active, the same things get posted again and again and again, they still happen, my FAQ was actually made so i can just post it, and move on saves lots of time in the long run

    as for the minority/majority
in theory you might be right, but if you base it off posts, 3/10 or so actually read xD the search button is amazing too, the thing is, people like to think their problem is unique, true, if you have a new game like animal crossing you could have had the original post, but that was day 1, because trust me, 1 day into if all problems will be sorted out for each game, might not be anwsered, but will be figured out

after mentioning the fix for animal crossing atleast 10 times on this forum, and constantly telling people, games do have unique updates, people still like to think theres a new problem, if u really believe that people read, over post, look at the ratio of people who posted

I for whatever reason accidently updated to 3.4, help me get leet hax, btw im uber noob so walk me though it

the biggest problem is the stupid Backup loader!
since the backup loader isnt used by MOST active maybe even all, active helpers not many of them can give them a anwser to the issues of it, true its not the best, but i dont see why i should use a crap program, to find flaws, just so i can help someone who for the most part wouldnt care for the effort put into their issue, i want to make a topic mentioning how using it isnt that great so on and so forth, but in the end people think like this

    Person A (more common)
learned of homebrew or got a issue > skimed the forums > posted a topic with semi useful/nonuseful info with often missleading and confusing text

    Person B (rare)
learned of homebrew or got a issue > searched > thanked and bumped a older topic > someone from Cat A decided they need to post

like the person who bumped the mod chip needed for backup topic

appologies if i frustrated people but obviously this forum is not too welcoming of newbies. The fact is Admiral you obviously know your stuff, but for someone starting from the very start, a lot of words, homebrew, brickblocked, etc go over my head.

    With regards to this:

"like i keep saying, YOURE MISSING SOMETHING, its like im talking to a wall, search for what is missing because the update on the disc has it i repeat for the 4th time in this topic THERE IS A UPDATE UNIQUE TO THE DISC WHICH IS NEEDED TO RUN, THESE UPDATES APPEAR MOSTLY ON NINTENDO ONLY GAMES! "

how can I search for what is missing if I do not know what is missing? Also you say the update is ON THE DISC. From my experience (xbox 360 etc) when updates are on the discs, they run themselves. Therefore are you saying that this install should set itself up?

You linked me to "IOS38,53, and 55" i do not know what these are, it says to install via wad manager. I also do not know what this is. I will continue to read and do research (which I did a lot of before posting, but couldnt find an answer that applied to me and was written in good enough english to understand) but I feel I might just give up and accept the fact that there are some games that I can not play.

I want to stress that I do not even know what homebrew is and I do not want to go/play online with my wii. I have read on other posts that just updating in wii-settings to 3.4 will solve some problems but cause others. Im now more confused than when I started.

-sigh- this forum is very welcomming to noobs but there are limits to anything, esp when i keep telling you what it is

since i have never once played, care to, or even desire to look at wii music i dont know what exactly is needed to play, but it gives errors to MANY people like Wii fit does, my experences with games not working there are 2 anwsers

there is a patch needed, that can be found simply by googling around and reading other peoples topics, or youre missing something that is required to play

since most games get brickblocked befor being uploaded, or someone is using something to stop the update, you never get it so the game can never load, installing the firmwares only works so far, if you have 3.4 you would still need IOS38, 53, or 55 to play the game that requires it, which are part of the update on the disc, since those can be extracted they are as wads that can be installed Via homebrew channel with wad manager, which is a simple process

i believe you should install homebrew channel ESP since i think you have 3.2 being its a simple iso burn and install, then download wad manager, and follow the read me, but keep looking around for the anwser that makes sense to you

in the end i cant stress enough, if you wont put in the effort to do a simple google search nor will i, i am sure people will see that as bad, but if you cant do the minimal then i wont to the maximum, i just use what i know/see/hear to give you a general idea of what is needed

thank you admiral, you have indeed given me a general idea of what is required, but you have to understand i have done a lot of google searches (about 2 hours of it today alone) so I do try to put the effort in as I understand that its not your job to answer my questions every time I have one, without trying to solve them myself.

i still dont know what homebrew channel does, but if it is a simple iso disc install I will do that, and then I assume I can use wad manager to install the IOS38, 53 and 55. I assume having all installed will not do any damage but instead any games that need them will just use them as applicable.

    I have a splitting headache.

i know it wont fix wii music, IOS36 might do it, but i dont really feel like looking into it, the best way to get anwsers sometimes would be to look at torrents

you can install them and theres a 0% chance at a brick, and if a game uses them it will be used

I had problems with Animal Crossing: City Folk and Raving Rabbids TV Party .. until I used Admiral Victorinox's link for IOS 38,53,55:

    http://www.wiihacks.com/faq-guides-t...html#post37403

Now all my games work flawlessly. (And still on 3.2U firmware)

It's an easy fix .. and all should do this before asking the same questions OVER and OVER of the same problem!

well as i said, i didnt ask this question over and over did I.

Also there should be a sticky on the burning wii discs page with this information in if it gets asked so often.

no there shouldnt, it SHOULD be here
Wiihacks - Nintendo Wii Hacks Community > Wii Hacking > FAQ, Guides & Tutorials

and guess what, there is a topic, with a stickie there with this info in it and just about every other faq out there

    http://www.wiihacks.com/faq-guides-t...html#post37403

my game gives a black screen, or doesnt work why?

    * some games have updates that are required to play, there are work arounds like geckoOS, and such usually based off the game, you can find the thing needed from asking around or googling

animal crossing doesnt work how do i fix it?

    * many things work
    * install this IOS38,53,55 for all new games
    * or 1.-DOWNLOAD THIS PROGRAM IOSPatcher
    FROM HERE www.dansal.es / www.OcioProyectos.com / http://www.wiihacks.com/dumping-burn...oProyectos.com / http://www.wiihacks.com/dumping-burn...oProyectos.com
2.-DRAG THE ISO TO THE IOS EXECUTABLE
    3.-CHANGE REGION FROM 38 TO 30
3.5A.-ALSO USE THE BRICKBLOCKER IF YOU ARE NOT SHURE OF THE UPDATE
3.5B.-FOR PAL USERS ALSO USE REGION FRII
    4.-BURN THE GAME
    5.-PLAY IT
    * if it still doesnt work, that means you have the fakesign bug patched and you need the actual, if you dont use homebrew you can upgrade it without a issue
also i keep telling you there is something missing that is required and part of the update, i heard many people had success loading in Gecko OS, it seems to be a random error since i dont ever see a actual anwser for it, but there is something u need, that u dont have

which was posted here, in post #2....

admiral can you clarify that the ONLY way to install wad manager is to install the homebrew channel? I thought I read on another post that it is possible without the homebrew channel installed. Someone once told me not to install the homebrew channel as it can cause problems (I wish now that Id asked what problems)
