I am using Usb loader GX to install games on an old 100 GB hard drive and when ever I try and install Twilight Princess it gets to about .45 percent then says it install successfully. When I try and open it the console freezes, and just stays on that screen without moving. When i play the game off the disk it plays fine but it always gets errors when I try to rip it. Professional Opinions and answers would be appreciated.
is the disc already a backup? you could get the iso again, if you dismissed it alread by using imgburn for example. Won't work with retail disc.
also you could use another loader, like wiiflow to see if ripping works there.

Sorry thought i should mention that i am using the retail disk and i tried it on Usb loader gx and configurable Usb loader. I would just torrent the iso (legally because i own the disk) but our internet service provider is really anal about that stuff.
Is there any scratches on the disc? If so, that may be the problem. The reason you can play it is you may not have reached the scratched part of the disc during game play. I have a disc that will not install, it has a minor scuff on the disc.
You might try to load the hard drive using Wii Backup Manager and then delete the Twilight Princess off of it and try reinstalling it again. Don't know if that will work but it's something I would try.
edit: silly question, but is the drive full?
also you can use superdump, at least you can try it with that one.
I tried most of those things and none seemed to work, so I'm probably going to get a new disk and try it again with that one
