    Burning certain games

Right, this is a bit of a long one so bear with me...
It started a few months ago, when I was trying to burn monster hunter trii, the game would work for a few minutes then deliver the shitty error message 'the disc cannot be read, please refer to the manual for details' I sought help from someone to get it to work but to no avail. I gave up and didn't thibk about it again.
Fifa 2010 was the very first game I had put onto disc, but I had used a DVD+R disc and binned it when I realised they were no good for the wii. I then re-downloaded it, and also Africa 2010....with the same problems. I re-modded my wii, tried everything with the help of a friend on another forum but couldn't get it to work. And for the life of me couldn't figure out why.
All of my older games work, I used Tesco DVD-R 8X for them. But my newer ones are on Tesco DVD-R x16 discs. Someone told me that both these medias work for him. But I can't figure out why they won't work for me. I tried ripping the game at half the speed of the disc itself (which would be x8 instead of x2) and I managed to play 1 game, but then got the error message. My older games work perfect but just not these ones. Does anyone else have this problem? And has anyone got a solution for this?

So it is safe to use DVD+R's? Just change the booktype? I thought they screwed up the laser after a while.

Hmmm, think I will see if there is any other solutions first instead of using +R's. Maybe try burning at full disc speed (x16)?

Load it through your usbloader as it only reads the game partition and not the update partition.
