    IMG Burn

I'm burning a game on IMG Burn at 2x speed, it finishes and then it goes to verify, and it founds a boatload of miscompares, really alot.
Is that bad or should I just ignore it? I'm new to IMG Burn, I used Nero Burning ROM :P

I use Imageburn all the time although i never use verify, best to stick the disc in the Wii and try it.

    Thumbs up

you should burn at 4x speed, and you don't have to verify the disc- unless you want to wait another 15 minuets.

usb loader gx is the way to go though,

Miscompares are essentially the same as bonafide disc errors. What happens is IMG Burn writes the image and then on verify, compares the data written to that of the image file. Miscompares mean the data doesn't match and that's not a good thing. What brand of disc are you using? Only Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden, or Ritek G05 really should be used --- those are quality and reliable media. And myself, I run verify for this very reason. If the data doesn't match from what's written to what's read, the burn or disc isn't any good. 4X burns should work as well.
