    Unzipping an iso file

I recently downloaded some iso files (games) for the wii and when I try to unzip the file to burn, it starst to unzip then when its almost done I get an error that says
unable to write to output file
I have lots of memory on my harddrive to be able to store the file so I am at a total loss. I have tried several different iso's I have downloaded and I get the same erroe message.

Iso files are a container, Rar/Zip files are compressed archives. What file type is the item you are attempting to unzip.
Iso files are not unzipped, but rather burned as an "image" straight to cd/dvd, that is where the hierarchy is created.

If your hard drive is formatted as FAT32, it cannot manage a file larger than 4GB, An uncompressed, nonscrubbed Wii game ISO is 4.37GB. You will need to extract an ISO with WinRar or 7Zip to a hard disk drive or partition formatted as NTFS.

If you have have a .rar .zip or .7z file you have to download the appropriate app to open it. UNrar, 7 zip etc. If you already have the single .ISO file then simly load it up in Disk Utiliity if your running a MAC or Image Burn (do a google search) if you are running a PC.

Your almost there just keep at it.
If i helped you please click thanks.

    I still have problems

I ahve winzip and winRAR to try to make the compress files merge into a iso to put on usb. My computer cant seem to combine them suddendly. I use to be able to before I ahd to wipe my cpu. Now I got three seperate HD's .. One with XP one with Vista one with WINDODS7.. everytime I try to combine my files into a iso, I keep getting this message form winRAR or 7zip saying the file is unreconizable or damaged. I know my fiels arent damaged because the ones I was able to combine into iso before .
Are there any programs or plug-ins that can make a rar parts combine into iso's . I ahve no idea what I used before. All I know was that it worked before I had to wipe my hd. I moved all my iso to my bigger HD and the WBS manager is able to read them and convert them over. but any rar into parts cant be combined into a iso..

Anyone knw a solution to this ?
