Using Usb loader gx for Super Smash Bros. Brawl loads to a white screen Assistance pl

Hello everyone who trying to help out or have the same problem.
    I Comethead(Comet for short.)
Im pretty new to Wii hacks, but i have figured alot out from these forms and youtube.
I have had a Wii for quite a while, it's now at Version, 4.2u(Nintendo's Homebrew exterminator)
but, luckly it's has bootmii/boot2 on it so im should be good.
Some of the mods that are on it are Homebrew, Mplayer, The Wad Manager v1.5, and Usb Loader Gx, all of these are working with flying colors, but on usb loader when i Try playing on of mankinds wonders of the world, Super Smash Bros. Brawl,(I'm very good with Olimar, Wario, And Captain Falcon) but as i try to load it up from external hard Drive, it loads to the usually "Wear the strap around your wrist, blah blah blah, Etc. Etc." and then it goes to its load screen but, after the load screen it goes to a white screen and i cant get out from it unless i reboot it from the power button.
Your Advice/ Assisstance is very welcomed.
    Thank you in advanced

    Hi comet,

just stating some points that might help you.

1: if you are ripping the game from your disc itself, you should do it when your USB Loader Gx is set with cIOS 222 as the default IOS. If not, the game ripped will be a useless one.

2:For installing cIOS 222/223(either one to play SSBB) refer to

    for installing Hermes IOS v5:
    http://www.wiihacks.com/other-faq-gu...222-223-a.html

    For installing Hermes IOS v4
    http://www.wiihacks.com/wii-custom-s...os-v4-out.html

You might want to check out the compatibility of your USB Loader before deciding to install either v4 or v5.

I use wiiflow R25 and therefore, only can install v4. I'm not sure about USB loader Gx.

3: When you are playing the game, change the settings of the USB loader to use ios 222/223 to play the game.

    See if it works.

    thanks for commenting achangelvx =)
so i installed ios222, and i think i got alittle farther now,
now the game goes to the classic "a error occured when trying to read the disc, please eject and refer to you manual" screen
but this doesnt help if its off a HHD, i dont know if its just the fact the games a duel disc or what.

if you are loading from HDD then it makes no difference if the game is duel disc or not.

For me, i had "a error occured when trying to read the disc, please eject and refer to you manual" when i tried to rip using the usual cIOS 249.

I would actually suggest trying a different backup if you are willing to. The file you have might be a bad dump due to incorrect ripping method.

remember to use IOS 222 to play the game.

Edit: Sorry, my bad. If you are getting the "a error occured when trying to read the disc, please eject and refer to you manual" it should be you using the wrong IOS to play the game.

If you have a black screen after the first battle, then only the dump is bad.

THERE IS NO NEED TO DELETE YOUR CURRENT ISO.
