I have an NTFS drive with wbfs and iso on it. Most of my titles are in wbfs format and Im going through the slow process of eventually converting all my titles to iso format for easy burning if need be.
Wii backup manager does have full scrubbing and you can chose to keep only the game partition and the resulting .iso title will be sparsed/scrubbed. At first glance the size will be reported as 4.3gb or something to that effect (this is only applies to the wii iso format) however the actual size on disk will be the actual scrubbed game size.
The scrubbed wii .iso format only adds say 100-200mb of space compared to a scrubbed wbfs titles. (I only compared a couple titles so this may not be accurate) but 100mb more isnt an issue for me. For me .isos are super convient when you also have imageburn, just right click the file and burn away. No more having to converft from wbfs to iso format.

i placed my iso image X:/wbfs/Title [Gameid].iso
but when i clicked the boxart the discs keeps on spinning and not load?
I apologize if this comes off the wrong way but when you ask for help just dont say whats not working for you. Youre only wasting time doing that. You need to supply the relevant information.

This is the relevant info you need to mention so someone can help. Please keep that in mind for next time.
For my setup of titles running of my NTFS drive, Im currently using Configurable USB Loader v60(222) and USB Loader GX (can remember what version). The default IOS for loading up my titles is set to 222 with an exception to certain titles that I have configured to run using 224. Im also using hermes cios v5 with 224 installed as base 57. As for configurable usbloader I know that they are new versions however I had to revert back to this version to load Call of Duty Black Ops. (maybe its been corrected by other means but I havent checked up on it yet)
If anything that I mentioned above sounds foreign then it means you need to do more reading.

i am using usb loader gx r 938 (Latest), the titles are on a ntfs partition and I'm using the default usb loader gx settings; indicating that i did not touch any of the settings. I believe i am loading it off from ios 222 and i have ciosx rev 20b installed, all heremes installed, 4.1U Wii, and a NTSC Wii. Hope i provided the correct information

Thanks for giving back some info.
Sorry I couldnt reply sooner Im in the process of getting my internet back up. Well the info you provided seems to cover all the basics.
I would only mention to verify that the iso youre using is indeed good (Ive had bad dumps do exactly what you mentioned) I would burn the iso to dvd and try to launch it using the wii backup launcher channel (you may/may not have this). If not, get another dump and try again.
The title naming is good becuase if it wasnt the game wouldnt wouldnt show up in your list at all but I would update the title list anyway....Lastly try a different USB loader. Try CFG loader, its much better and has better compatibility.
As mentioned before Im running on system menu 4.2U, Hermes v5, Cios rev....damn I cant remember but I know its not 20b and currently using CFG USB loader 60(222)
Let us if know you were finally able to get it working and how you did it. THanks!

You can find it here
cfg-loader - Project Hosting on Google Code
The stable release is the right side of the page. You could click on the download tab for the latest beta releases however you can update it from within the software. Also theres a link to a forum topic explaining how to use it and whatever else.
You do know how to correctly place the app on your drive right? If you download the zip you can check the structure of it and should figure it out from there. But just in case...
The main up goes in
the config file resides in two places, the main app folder
and in a config folder on the root of the drive (If I remember correctly)
But anyways read the documentation and the forum post its all there. I started using USBLoader_GX cause the gui was very good looking but as mentioned before CFG Loader has come up since then is my main USB Loader. Superiror compatibility, configurations, layouts, options, flexibility. I could go on. Also one thing I recommend is changing the defualts paths of USB Loader GX to that of CFG Usb loader. That way you can save space by only having one folder for game covers, images, codes, etc. Instead of having double the files.
playing games on 2nd partition drive ntfs
Ok quick question, I have been playing my backups fine on my external HD, i have it partitioned at 150gb FAT32, and 50gb NTFS. the games on the FAT32 run fine. But i want to put my back up of Black Ops on the NTFS drive in the \wbfs folder but it doesnt show in the cfg usbloader. Is it even possible to do this or what should i do. Thanks in advance. And yes i have been searching all over for this answer.
Oh and im using wii game manager. to convert my iso to wbfs to my FAT 32 drive.

In CFG press 1 to get to the global options. Then click on "System" and change your partition to NTFS. You will have to do this every time you want to switch between the two.
