    GDR-8162B drive dual layer?

managed to get one on ebay today, bnib £34 inc shippin, which is dear I know...but hey cant find the buggers almost for love nor money.

is this drive dual layer? I cant see it anywhere on spec sheets. ssbb is the first game to use dual layer i think, and if my thinking is correct, many more are to be released dual layer.

    anyone help? taaaaaaaaaaaa!

a burner for pc that dumps wii orginals so I can back up my collection.

turns out the drives available from the vendor are lg 8163b and 8164b. 8162, they reckon will take an extra 5 days to sort out, so I plumbed for the newer model at no extra cost.

supposed to be slower than the 8162, but as im not gunna be dumping much, speed not really a factor... still not sure if they are dual layer.
