Be aware, your question seemingly has nothing to do with the subject, and strongly suggests piracy (retail/original discs don't come as WinRar archives).

    Wii won't read the DVD

I followed the instructions and everything seemed to work fine but my Wii won't read the DVD. Any advice.

Could be a couple of things:
    1) if you have a newer Wii, they come with new DVD drives that do not read DVD-R media & will only read original retail games. In this case, the best thing to do is to look into buying a compatible external USB drive & using a USB Loader to run the games from there.

    2) could be bad media (bad DVD-R) or burned too fast. Check that you're using a brand of disk that is known to work - and that it is DVD-R and not DVD+R. Lots of people seem to recommend Verbatim, personally I've had 100% success with Memorex DVD-Rs. Also I would burn images at no more than x2 speed.

    Good luck.

Just wanted to also confirm that Disk Utility works perfectly and will produce flawless backups. As Loop noted, the general recommendation appears to be Verbatim discs but I have used Maxell DVD-R's burned at x4 in Tiger 10.4.11 without any problems. Hopefully this information will help fellow Mac users.

Yeah, that type of media is what we usually recommend. I've used Sony DVD-R burned at 3X and works perfect.
