I think that Haardwire is wondering the same thing as me. How do we on a Mac rip/dump a Wii disc to create the ISO file if we can't mount them? It seems that this thread is only about the tail end of burning backups, after you already have the ISO file. What I'd like to know is how to get the ISO file off an original Wii disc?

Excellent tool, search for it.
WiiJunkies doesn't work for me. My Mac still spins the disc around and around before spitting it back out.
After much Yahooing I managed to come across FriiDump. From what I read about it this seems to be the program that I was looking for. It will rip an ISO from a Wii disc and save it to your Mac. Unfortunately the site that hosts it has broken download links and I can't seem to find other sources.

WBFS manager for Mac
Hi, I looked for a good manager for mac. One that will read the external drive formatted for the wii. I finally found a very good one. I saw that a lot of people were looking too and I wanted to post it here for all.
Here is the link : FileTrip - WBFS Manager for Mac OS X 1.0
OSX Disk Utility
I haven't had any issues burning from Disk Utility. I am currently 10.6.4. I have had a few games burn but not work, I fixed this by slowing the burn speed to 1X.
Can someone help me I tried backing up my Mario Party 8 on a Mac os and it spits it right out I can't even get it on my computer and if I did does anyone know how to burn it to a disk or dvd-r I need a good tutorial but for now I need to back up my games thanks.
When i go to drag the iso into burn it says 'Unknown Disk Image' 'Cant determine disk format'
any help would be greatly appreciated.

This guide worked perfectly for me!
Used Verbatim DVD-R discs and set speed to x2 took about 15 minutes for me but it was well worth the wait
Disk Utility has worked fine for all my burns.
I follow this and nothing ;__;
Okay a file ends up giving me multiple files that I think are already decompressed?
Because extensions are: .r01 .r02 etc. Like 20 of them.
Do I compress them and burn? And if so, do I change the file extension to ISO for Burning? Btw mounting is a prob for me too, havent had success on that part. && Last thing is Disk Utility Settings, such as Rapair, Convert, Save As New Image ( ALOT of settings there) including Saving it as Cdr or something along that.
Please Wiihacktyhackeys help.
