NOTE
It is highly recommended to use high quality DVD-Rs (not +R). For best results use Verbatims and Taiyo Yudens made in Japan, Singapore or Taiwan. Although DVD+Rs may work fine for some. To reduce errors and save your Wii's DVD Laser's life its best to use DVD-R from the brands listed above.
Burning Wii backup iso in OSX
Why not just use the built in 'Disk Utility' app - works for me.
if you have OSX, you have it already!
Open 'Disk Utility' (in Applications/Utilities)
click the 'Burn' icon or press command+B
navigate to your .iso file in the pop up dialog and select it
choose burn speed (I burn all mine on x2 speed)
I had the most success with Memorex DVD-R (Verbatim all failed for me)
I'm wondering whether this method works for GC Multi Isos - I don't see why it shouldn't.
* yeah, works fine for Gamecube isos too!
Good luck.
