Original Back ups not working but downloaded torrents do!?!? HELP!

    Guys / Girls....

I have the correct LG drive (8164) and have dumped original PAL discs; NSMB, Just Dance and Ghostbusters.

I have managed to get them from the Rawdump, through Imgburner and onto Disc for the Wii but they will not play!! I have also tried getting them onto the latest USBloader GX, but they still wont play even with the 002 fix on.

I have downloaded torrent games and these by the majority all work fine with no issues or 002 errors.... but the original games that I want to back up before my kids kill them wont work at all!!

I am running version 4.2e on my wii, with the latest homebrew, ios249 and the latest Cios 38. 17 (i think)

I have tried to patch the games using wiiscrubber but for some reason best known to the ISO, it will not let scrubber access it!?!?!

Can someone please tell me if I am being thick and missing something or where on earth am I going wrong??

use USB loader GX to rip them with you wii directly to a USB HDD and see if they work.

There is not a single iso that wiiscrubber cant access. Also are you sure the iso file size is exactly 4,699,979,776 bytes? Also what happens when you try to load these games?
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

Sorry for the double post but very true davepm. Instead of using your pc to place the iso onto the HDD, use usb loader gx itself to rip the game to the HDD. It could very well be that they are good burns but you are either missing an ios thats needed to play those games or you didnt know that some of those games need special treatment.

I do have an old wiiscrubber. I havent downloaded a new one since i put the first one on and that was back in may.

tbh there is only a couple of newer iso's that wont open with the older wiiscrubber, and 1.4 is the latest, which was released 14th Feb 2009, so unless someone downloads an old copy, or has had it a really long time, there shouldnt be a problem.

I have given the USB loader, and so far the game I tried (Big Beach Sports) works a treat and only took less than 3 minutes to burn!!! I was absolutely amazed!! The only thing I am struggling with now is the WiiScrubber issues, and also the patching. I get that you have patch in the new IOS but I don't understand the extract the main.dol and where you put it as it asks you to save it somewhere...... I will give the USB loader another bash later to see if it is consistently successful and await any advice or clearer guidance on getting to grips with Wii Scrubber... Thanks so much for your help so far peeps
