Flickering during gameplay - Backup

I just tried burning an iso for the first time. During gameplay there is a constant blue/red flicker.

Is this because of the hardware, media that i used?
or maybe just a bad image?

Burner: Mitshita ...
Media: Sony DVD+R

Burned at 2X with ImgBurn.
Using D2pro9 on a d2e wii.

Also, how can i check what version software is on my chip?
I had it installed last week, would it come with latest software?

Thanks..
Gunn.

Have you checked your cable connecting from Wii to your TV has been connected properly? Is this only happening on that one game?

I know people have successfully used Sony DVD-R (I don't know about DVD+R). IT has also been recommended that single layer disc should be burned at 4x and the DL Discs at 2.4x, of coarse, people have been successful at other speeds too.
