Hi yall, I'm having some weird issues..not sure if media related.. My Wii is modded with the Dcpro9 version 2.

I initially had version 1.4 on the chip, and I burned a number of games.. wich all worked fine.. then the next day I would put my discs in, the wii would recognize the game, and only once I would launch the game I would get the "disc could not be read" error.. How come they worked initially and not now.. so I read up a bit.. saw that I could upgrade to utility disc 1.5 which I did.. still get the same error..

I'm burning them using Nero at slow speed (4X) on Fuji DVD-R discs.

My Wii was updated from the settings menu and is at 3.3U

Also I have made sure all games were brick blocked and in my usa region using WUI.

Any help would be appreciated!

use imgburn to burn the games

really? that simple? I will try for sure and report back... only thing bothering me is why the game would work one day.. and the next not work at all! but thanks, I will give it a shot!

I burn mine at 2.4x in imgburn, had no problems so far except with super smash brawl for obvious reasons.

Well so far so good, went on a burning spree last night, burnt about 10 games, and only one did not work (which I suspect might be a bad image) I used (Taiwan) Verbatim discs with IMGburn at 4X!
