burning / Win zipped game.
Hi.
Total novice here . I've downloaded a Wii game from torrentbytes, and would like to burn it to DVD and try it in my sons Wii . I wanted the game ready first so I can check if the mod is working, (I've yet to do that), ok before I put it back together again.
I've opened the folder and it cotains loads of files , most of which are Winziped. Do I unzip them individually and extract them to another folder, and then burn that folder. Will this work?
I get the feeling there may be a bit more to it than that, but some of the explanations I've seen are a bit hard to follow. Just wondered if I was on the right track.
Thanks, any help would be appreciated.

If you don't already have winrar then you should get that first.
If the multiple files are .rar files then click on the lowest number rar file 00 or 01 which ever lowest number you have to open it with winrar and extract the iso file.
You should also download wiu1.1 which you would use the region patch/ brickblock the iso file if needed.

Thanks. The rar files didn't appear to be numbered but I extracted the first one in the list and extracted that. It semed a large file in itself; does this mean I do not have to do the same with all tha other rar files?
There is also a "file folder" and a "system information" file . Do I move these as well prior to burning?
Now , this wiu1.1. I live in England. do I need this? What does it do and how do I use it?
Sorry for the barrage of questions, they seem to coming at me faster than I can type them!
Thanks for taking the time to help.

You will find wiu1.1 here -> [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
It used to Region patch and Brick Block the ISO file. If the ISO you have is for a different region than the region of your Wii then you will need to patch the Region also if the ISO contains an Update then you will need to patch(remove) the update, all it takes a couple button clicks.

Thanks guys, It looks like I'm almost ready to try this mod out. I assume I only have to burn the zipped rar file and nothing else, Not even the system info file? Will ucing this wiu1.1 be okay even if the region is compatible?
I'll download the wiu 1.1

You are not supposed to burn the rar files, but use Winrar to unrar the rar files which should produce a single file with the extiension of .iso. You then use wiu1.1 to view the iso file to check and, if necessary, carry out region patch and brick block. Once that is completed then you burn the .iso file using imgburn at a slow speed.

what jbloggs sasy is correct, you may have the weird muliple rar files. you may have like 6 rar files and when you open then up you see more rar files. that seems like that is the case here, so what you have to do is unrar all rar files and then unrar the new ones to get a iso. Meaning lets say you have 10 rar files you un rar then and get like 40 new rar files you will then need to unrar that to get a iso image that need to be burned

Thanks, I unzipped the first one as jbloggs said and it come up with an iso file at 4.37gb. I was hoping that would be it , but I now find that , for some reason , my computers DVD burner keeps saying that there is not enough space on the (4.7gb) disk. So at the moment I can't try it!

What are you using to burn the iso? You should download imgburn and install it -> [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
once its installed, then in windows explorer go to the directory where the .iso is located, right-click on the .iso file and you will see option to "Burn with IMGBurn", click on that and then click on the button to Write image.
