How to tell region of origin for Wii - Wiihacks

I have a mod chip on the way and some games ready to go, but I want to run them through RegionFrii first to make sure I don't brick the Wii. This may be a dumb question but figured I would ask anyway.

The Wii I have was purchased on Ebay from within the U.S. How do I know for sure that its a US Wii and not something someone got elsewhere, or should I be ok to run the games labeled as USA without running through RegionFrii? I assume its a US region since all the documentation was in English, but again, I want to be safe so I dont make a post about "HELP I bricked my Wii"....just trying to do some research up front.

Thoughts? RegionFrii did verify that the game downloaded was NTSC

well this is the greatest idea i can give you, go into the wii settings and look at the top right conrner it it says a umber like 3.2u then it mean it usa if it has E its eupore j for japan
