Im a complete noob when it comes to this modding, im new to it and i modded my wii , canadian, a month ago and still did not benefit from it. I need a complete Noobs guide of Burning games for Dummies, not that im a dummie but i need help reaching all the steps of burning a game from popint A to point B

Hi there! Welcome to WiiHacks! Hopefully we can help you with other problems too.

First step: download ImgBurn

Second step: if you have one of the special LG drives that can read Wii discs (8160-4b series), you can download Rawdump and dump the games you already own. If you do not, you can either purchase one and put it in your computer or bittorrent games and burn them to disc using ImgBurn.

Third step: Nothing is 100 percent with burning discs. Essentially, there's no set standard for burning discs, you just have to do what works for you. With that said, most people on here will say that burning at 4x using Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, or TDK, gives you great results. DVD-R's are probably more compatible so those will be the ones you want to use. Try this out and see how it works for you. If this doesn't yield any results, let us know and we'll try to help you out.

Thx , i feel like im in the right place, the right ppl. Well here's the problem, a month ago, i got my first game downloaded, i beleive it was a pal twilight princess, one or the other my wii is able to play pal, and welll i burnt it and once i had it in my wii, the screen went black and my controller disconnected, that was after i was able to see the game channel, it had the twilight music and the background before you start up the disk
