If your GH:A is not NTSC-U then do not update as it will brick your wii. If it is NTSC-U then it shouldn't be asking for update if you already updated to 3.3U.

It could be just a bad media issue, bad burn or bad iso. Also you might want to try to update wii to 3.2E (not 3.3). I don't know what you mean by "its an old chip", what is the modchip that you have installed and what is the wii drive type of your wii (e.g. D2C)?

the media im using is not the issue i can assure you, what i mean by its an old chip is that its a wiifree which is no longer supported so it cant be updated, the wii is a d2b, iv had this issue b4 with SMG, mario kart and boom blox but got around the issue with ppf patches that others have created on the net, iv been looking for a similar patch for this game but cant find one, any suggestions ne1?
    Thanx

Hmm, sorry don't really know about a ppf patch, the only other thing to consider is to get a newer modchip with support.
