Verbatim Disks Made In India
I just bought a 50 pack of verbatim 16x dvd-r from best buy for a very good price - $12.99
But... there made in India. I'm Indian so I am all for the dvds made from the motherland, lol, but I hear that the quality of those aren't that great. I can get the ones made from Taiwan but at a very high inconvenience. I wanted to know are the ones made in India completely unusable or what. Whats the entire problem with those disks.
Oh ya and I was wondering could I use the dvd+r instead of the dvd-r... would it make that much of a big difference. I dont know much about dvd formats.

Made in India verbatims are junk, period. Stay away from them.
Made in Taiwan will work but its no where near the quality of made in Singapore or Japan verbatims.
Stop being cheap on media , geez. Even if media costs you $5 a disc it would be worth it, be sensible
I strongly recommend the following:
Verbatim dvd-r , made in Japan/Singapore (not the whitetop inject printables either)
Taiyo Yuden dvd-r, Premium line (not whitetop or value line).
Use those medias with imgburn , burn 4x and your backups will run nicely on your wii.

The only ones that I can find are the ones made in Taiwan im looking for the ones made in japan/singapore... but cant find any.. I live in the US do you know any of the ones made in Japan/singapore that are like a 50/100 pack that I can buy online?
If i cant find the ones made in japan/singapore is the one made in Taiwan good enough? Will the one in Taiwan hurt my laser???

Anyone know where to get the Verbatim disks that are made in Japan.. and how much in the U.S for a spindle of 50? I was going to check out best buy, circuit city, walmart etc.. but I will probably take best buy off the list if they are made in india.
I was going to get them on Amazon but unfortunately it doesn't tell you where they are made. Its a bit of a gamble.
Any physical shop suggestions would be great.

i just bought some verbatim -r dvds made in tawan for the source, there where 2 different kinds one was [Only Registered Users Can See Links. did i buy the right ones or they are both the same, coz the 50 pack that said inscriptible where $5 cheaper. Now that i think about it im guessing they just changed the label and they where both the same. The only reason i bought the 25 pack was; it said advanced azo and the 50 pack only said azo
