Yes, you should be able to play them no problem, although I have run into some games that require an alternate DOL to load properly so if this is not already done to the image you might need to use a softloader.

I dont have a hard mod .... but from everything that I have read there are no problems playing scrubbed games in a hard mod

As other people have stated ... scrubbing just removes all of the crap

NSMB is only approx 377mb once it's been scrubbed.

Scrubbed wii games usually have no problems I have been using about 4 so far with no errors I use Softmod and Wiiflow to play them with setting the error 002 fix to default ON for all games By Default I mean that it automatically sets the Fix to ON no matter what game I try to load as all my games use the Same Profile setting that is Default hence why it apply to every game I run from my USB HDD.

Scrubbed ISO Games will run on any hacked wii it does not really matter HOW you mod the wii as long as its done. Modded Wii just basically Means its ready to use home-brew and backup iso games.

If you plan to run the game using a DVD simply Follow the normal Burning ISO's to DVD guides located around the forum. Basically you just use what ever program u want to burn the ISO to dvd at 4x or lower speed and using the recommended media ( DISC BRAND), will improve the chances the game will load and run on the Wii with out issues.

Like others have said there is practically ZERO difference between a Legit copy Game - Backup GAME or Scrubbed game. Scrubbed is just a process some people like to use to reduce the FILE size of the ISO by removing any un needed DATA the game does not use. This extra data is called Space Filler its just useless code to fill the disc so it takes up the whole dvd so by removing it u just get the game that might be only 500mb in size and not 4gig and that will save you a TON of space on your USB drive if u use one.

AS stated above I get Scrubbed if i can find one coz the file size can be gigs smaller then a 1-1 backup AND that saves me Download quota .

Though it always handy to read the comments people have left about the ISO before u download it just to see if any one had any problems other then the usual crap you see in the comments (AKA: How do you use this , I cant get it load, How do i burn this to work on my wii) that crap! lol

If it does not work for you but works for 85% of everyone else who commented then maybe your settings are wrong when trying to load it on your Wii. Also though I have not run into this my self yet! sometimes scrubbed ISO's can be corrupt and not work this is mainly due to Download Corruption during your download ending with you having a incomplete Downloaded file - or the person simply had upload errors and the ISO is just broken.

Hope this information helps you out better as i tired to explain it at the best of my knowledge and in a way everyone could Understand it

    Cool

I have tried using scrubbed games over & over again. NONE of them ever work??? We have 2 Wii's one with a Wasabi Chip & both have softmod also. USBloaderGX, Neogamma, the hard mod, NOTHING has ever gotten a scrubbed game to work for us??? There has got to be something more. Even when people post settings etc., & say they got the scrubbed game to work. We do the very same thing & NOTHING! I don't get it. Every once in a while I try a scrubbed game again after reading posts like this one & waste another Verbatim Disk, ugh. ?????????????????????????????

    IMHO

Something is not right with your softmod or hack then or your scrubing them wrong.

Did you make the .bin key using the kay maker that comes with WiiScrubber.

Can u install syscheck 2.0 and open the results it saves on your SD in notepad or word and past it here for us to look at.

    Cool Mmmm

I don't scub the games or anything like that. They are just 'scrubbed' games that I have downloaded. None of them have ever worked. Both our Wii's are chipped & soft modded. Everything else to do with a chipped Wii, or a soft mod, works perfectly. My son runs games from a hard drive all the time with no problems, but not scrubbed games. Burned games work fine, except when it says they have been scrubbed???

Could you please post a Syscheck v2.x if u have the app if not homebrew browser hosts it for download via the its homebrew app.

It is still very very strange that it rejects scrubbed but works with the rest hdd or burned for me it does not matter the slightest apart from the fact I cant run burned games as I have the newer wii that they updated the DVD drive in so it wont read DVD-R.

I can only really suggest your check your CIOS rev and what IOS your running the games under.

So what actually happens when u attempt to launch a scrubbed game.

I have read that scrubbed games will not run on a hardmod with a system menu of 4.1 So I'm hoping that information is not correct. Anyone have scrubbed games running on a hardmod with 4.1?

So long as you've already got a given IOS needed by the game, should work. If your game black screens (yes, hardmod) 99% of the time this means your Wii is missing a required IOS by the particular title you're attempting to run.
