    Questions on "Burning"

    Hello,
I am new to hacking my wii and have a few questions.
The sticky above it instructions on how to burn wii backups

my question is when u refer to burn are you saying
    1. Downloading the files off the internet then putting them on a DVD-R
    2. Putting the Game into a drive putting it on your pc then putting in a DVD-R and burning them on
    3. Putting a Wii Game in one drive and a DVD-R in another drive.

i am new to modding consoles completely so any help is appreciated.

    Step 1.

Download the working Wii ISO. verify that it is exactly 4,699,979,776 bytes

    Step 2.

Open ImgBurn, burn as a DVD-ROM at 4x on 8x media and 8x on 16x media, ensuring that bitsetting is set correctly.

    Step 3.

pop burned Wii game in to console. If it works, then you did something right.

Well i think i do i was planning on buying a wiikey after reading around and seeing a lot of opinions saying its great and a money saver

but it'd be great if you could verify i purchased my wii in December

Also when u say make sure the ISO is xxxxxxx bytes is that the whole thing you download or just one part? also what if it is not?

The size of the entire Wii file should be then when going to burn the Wii ISO, as for the Mod-Chip, if you purchased it in Dec. then you have a D2C chipset which means that the WiiKey is out of reach for your consoles, however, the D2CKey and D2Pro will work for you, however again, you might want to have a professional install it since it is quite the task for someone with little or no soldering experience to overcome without messing up there whole system. If you are near Mas, I accept walk-ins, if not I do accept shipping, I have references if needed, and I would also check on the rest of the site to see if there is someone in your area up for the task. Installation only takes about 20 mins if you are experienced.
