    Disc Read Error

    Hi,

I recently softmodded my wii, its got firmware 4.2e with neogamma r8 and ciosrev 14. It also has cioscorp to run the games through disc channel.

The problem im having is i have burnt 2 games so far, super mario bros (which i have heard a lot of people have problems with) and medieval games.

When i try to load them through the disc channel they read and when i hit the play button it comes up with a black screen and disc read error...eject disc and check manual etc etc.

I have managed to get medieval games to work once through neogamma but not super mario bros.

Basically i want to be able to get them to work through the disc channel, does anyone have any ideas as to how i can sort this??

    Help would be greatly appreciated!

Buy a modchip or buy WODE when it comes out would be the best solution I'd imagine.

It's probably cIOSCORP. The only thing is most of the Staff at Wiihacks don't actually use cIOSCORP as it generally messes things up (and this thread is a case in point) so how to fix the problem is just down to guesswork in the most part.

We know that CORP causes these sorts of error and this is why I created this image a while back.

If you want things to work correctly through the disc channel then your only real options are still to buy a modchip or WODE.

You could also try some different games.

Or see if there's an update for cIOSCORP.

Sorry I can't be much more help.
