    non compatible disc?

    Hey,

I made a backup of a mates game for him to use in backup loader gamma. He's on 4.3E. It runs for about 15 mins but then says disc is unreadable. I used a cheap dvd-r for this and burned at x4 as no x3 option. Is this most likely the disc? fact he has 4.2? or game (mario kart). I have created a 249 on his wii and everything for himl.

    thanks for any help

PS. i used dvd dumper to get iso then burned it straight to disc, is there something i have to do b4 burnin?

    TY

    Harry

There is no 4.3 update yet, he's probably on 4.2, the reason your getting that problem is probably because of your media. Always use high quality DVD-R (not +R) and burn at low speeds. Verbatim DVD-R at 2.4x is recommended.

game should be fine, but if neccessary backup a copy of another game and see if you get the same error

then try getting some better DVD'S aswell (althought i doubt this would solve it). get some vertabim or TDK DVD-r's and try again.

last thing is try installing Uloader as im on 4.2 and my neogamma r4 is buggy but Uloader works fine. just when you load up Uloader, select DVD up the top, then select configure and set it to cIOS249. works perfectly for me so hopefully it will for you too

also burn at 2.4X (its the reccommended speed as it gives the best results, but some games it leaves it unreadable), if so reburn it at 4X (may make some games a bit glitchy, but usually will work first try)
