Extracting ISO's, winrar fails ; wrong password; any help?

Ok, I didnt know what section to put this in, but I have been trying to extract some iso's that are split up into different parts. Whenever I do this, it will extract until it gets down to the last part, then I get a WinRAR: Diagnostic message that says CRC failed in the encrypted file (wrong password ?) . I know the password is right because I can extract it first, then extract the rest in a backwards order, and when it gets to the last one (Which is the first one, fails.) Has anyone had this problem? Know anyway to fix it. This happens on all three of the isos I have tried to recently extract.

    Please help...

It does truly sound like you did not enter the correct password for the rar files. Especially in the reverse order process you described-did you get these rar files from doing a search? The password is usually not identified in a secondary search and can be found on the originating or host site for the links.

I have gotten that error before and it really has nothing to do with passwords. If it asks you to input a password at the beginning before it extracts and you put it in wrong, it simply wont extract. Remember what file the extracting is at when this messege comes up and next time start that file first.
If I have helped you in any way, please thank me by pressing the little thanks button.

I know I have got the right password. Teh Paradox Forum. This is where I got the iso's from, and they clearly post the password. I have not had a password problem with this site before, it just started recently, and is the same for all my iso's, so I believe it is a problem with winrar, not the files.

Thats what I was saying, It always fails on the last file, so I start with the last file then it fails on the first file...

I will try winzip, but I dont like it, thats why I switched to winrar in the first place.

No, it gave me the same crc wrong password fail, but the password works, and I can extract it, it fails at around 50-95% of the file extracted. Idk, I uninstalled winzip though since it didnt work.

Is there any way that I can change that password on one part of the iso, without extracting all the parts and breaking it back down?

So, if you know how to change a winrar password on a file, can you tell me, I have never done it before.

another option you can try if the password is correct, is find the same game amd files on a torrent sight and do a force recheck.

this will check to see if you recieved all the files and not misssing some data, which sometimes happens when downloading from file sharing sights(rapidshare, megaupload..etc)

    cheers
