Problem with burned games on the d2pro

    Hey,

Alright so I'm having problems playing burned games for a prolonged period of time with my d2pro.

    So here are the details:
Wii = updated through the settings
Certain backup games will load right away but to later give me a "Error Disk. Eject and restart your Wii" error. It's sometimes always at the same spot or entirely different altogether.

i.e. I won't be able to load Super Mario Galaxy at all but if I do, certain points in the game it would give me the "Disk Error" message - I can never reach the first save point.

I'm narrowing it down to burner or dvd media or even the chip soldering. Has anyone else had this problem with backup games and the D2pro?

Unsure what to do right now.

Any help or insight would be appreciated.

I also have a modded wii w/ a D2C Pro in it. I haven't run into any problems with the error messages yet. When you ar eburning your games are you burning them at 2x. From what I understand the slower the speed the better. Everyone recommends burning at 2x speed. Only thing I can think of at the moment.

Do you only have this problem with burned games, or also with normal games? You can try this by playing Wii Sports/Wii Play that came with your Wii or WiiMote.

Also, some types of Discs tend to work better for the Wii. Dvd-R (not +R) seems to work best for me.

That's funny cause I can't get a game to burn on DvD-R at all.....As soon as I pop in a DVD+R away it goes.....

I use a Benq burner and burn all my games with Imgburn.....

And I have yet to get a game to want to burn on a DVD-R Disc....I bought 100 of those discs the other day and had to return them.....Soon as a pop in a DVD+R all the games burnt without a problem.....
