    How do I..........

........take a full size ISO 4.7GB Wii game and shrink it down to 350MB? Is this possible? Like The New Super Mario Brothers is. I would love to shrink all my ISO's down to 350MB and fit them on a thumb drive. Can I do this? How do I do this? I just put HomeBrew channel and NeoGamma on my Wii and I love it

All wii full wii iso are dvd-5, with a few dvd-9, but the games are always smaller. The rest of the disk has updates and junk data. When you copy a game to a thumb drive, or hd, only the game partition is copied by default, this effectively shrinks the iso. All games vary in size depending on the complexity of the graphics. The NSMB 350mb is a good example, most game are between 1-2g, some are close to 4g, it depends. You can use wbfs manager to format your media and copy your games removing this junk data in the process. Hope this helps.

I have WBFS and for example I have a Wii scrubbed version of Super Monkey Ball. Compressed in RAR form the game 39.5MB, uncompressed it is almost 4.6GB. WBFS errors out when I try to load this game onto my USB thumb drive. This is version 3.0.1. I'm running Windows 7 and I tried WinXP compatibility mode and still the error. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to do some other form of compression? I really do appreciate your help, I'm trying to learn this

How large is the USB flash drive to which you are trying to add your game? Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz is 1.11GB when added to a WBFS formatted frive using WBFS Manager 3.0

My USB flash drive is 4GB, formatted it is 3.72. The only game on there now is NSMBW, and that takes up .038GB on the flash drive.

Just an FYI, some games will not compress even when put into a loader. Puzzle Quest is a good example of this, it is 4.37GB no matter what you do. (When the game should be 0.24GB or something)

The file you downloaded is the Super Monkey Ball Iso PATCH .rar, not the game itself. You should realize 39.5MB is WAY to small for a Wii game, no matter how compressed. (since that falls into the 40MB WiiWare size limit)

Nah, it's not a patch bro. It's the game uncompressed at nearly 4.7 GB

I have had trouble adding some iso files from pc to wbfs drive. This is usually fixed by downloading a different version, or attempt to burn it to dvd and copy to wbfs from the wii.

then maybe you meant 395MB, either that, or its a patch image that needs to be merged with the original.
