I got bob the builder game for my son, he is three, pal version. I tried to get it to play on neo gamma r7 ios249 (rev 14) but it won't work. I also tried gecko os as well beacuse some one recommended it. I tried everything. I searched this whole site for hours to get it to work. When i load the game it says: The Disc could not be read. Please refer to the WII operations Manual for details.
I'm totally at a lost... can someone help me... I have to admit I'm new to this and I need someone to explain it to me in a step by step way. Please help. I really would like to get pal games to work on my softmodded system. thanks to anyone that has suggestions.

Check you media, good quality darker type dye on DVD, slow burning speed 1x, 2x provides better results. Verbatim DVD-R have been well recommended on here.
Is this the only game you've tried or is it the first PAL one you've tried?
Don't forget you might need to choose force NTSC in Neogamma options once you get the disc read issue out of the way.

i can play WiiFit-plus-usa, GhostBlaster-usa on NTSC-J,
but, no fun with WiiFit-Plus-pal and NHL2K-10-pal no matter i try to config in NeoGamma and SoftChip....
I am new at it too, but how i know then the new update bloks playing import games - it means if you have ntfs console then you can play only ntfs games. Correct me if i am wrong.

with the help of homebrew applications (NeoGamma, Gecko, SoftChip, usb_loader,uLoader, Backup Launcher,......etc), playing PAL games on
NTSC console is ok.
p.s ntfs ? oop...not for wii.
ntsc = tv system in north American, Jap.
ntsc stands for not the same color , right ?
yes this is the first pal game i have tried. and i wasn't using verbatim dics. im going to get some and let you know the results. i was using philips dvd-r an they r pretty light colored. Thanks appreciate the help. i'll let u know if the switch works better.
