Unable to play burnt Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I have Super Mario Galaxy and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. I burnt it on a Sony DVD-R with ImgBurn at 2.4x. When I insert the disc into my Wii, the error message "An error has occurred. Please press the eject button and remove the disk. Turn the wii console off and refer to the manual" appeared

Both my games are NTSC(U). The Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a DVD5 version.
I am not sure of my modchip. Someone pls help

I'm on 4.2U.

I am unable to install ios 36 required to run SSBB. I have HBC.

okay i see now. you are on 4.2u. 4.2 messes with some modchips that makes them unusable or they block the modchip making them unable to play out of region games. Try messie's tutorial on softmoding 4.2 wiis
