I use image burn and I always request the slowest possible speed. 1X sometimes it's forced to burn at 4X. I've never had a problem.

besides DVD's are cheap enough.... if there is a problem toss it out and burn another one.

I also use imgburn, 4x speed using any generic dvd-r works for me.

I usually burn my games at 2X using imgburn. I leave my computer alone when I burn the game though, in case it might mess up the burning process.

just use nero or any burn software and burn an image..
