After about 2 solid days of wiihacks.com I'm running a softmodded 4.2 and running a backup of one of my discs. However, most of the posts I read state that it shouldn't be working. I used DVD Dumper 1.2 and choose SINGLE LAYER to dump SSBB. I then burnt to Memorex DVD+R at full speed. I stick it in the Wii, and it runs. A single layer rip, single layer iso, single layer disc. Either it will just eventually crash at some point in the game, or they made a special single layer edition just for me. Any ideas?

Also, I've seen it asked a number of times, but never found the real answer: "How do I determine if an original game disc is dual layer or not?"
