Need crucial help!!!

Hey all,

recently my softmodded wii stopped playing burnt and backed up pal wii games.
im running on 3.2U with CIOSCORP 3.2 installed.
im burning to dvd-r at 2.4x (imgburn).
Could this possibly be my wii laser? (i havent really burnt games that much using it)

my wii is also being dicky constantly saying that an error has occured and to turn it off and read the wii manual.

i have preloader installed as well as backup launcher. oh and i recently did a downgrade from 3.4 to 3.2.

My ios and cios's currently installed (as seen using any title deleter):
250, 249, 55, 53, 61, 60, 38, 16, 254, 51, 10, 50, 36, 28, 22, 14, 37, 33, 35, 34, 31, 30, 21, 28, 17, 15, 13, 12, 11, mios, bc, sysmenu, 9, 4.

also,
what ios should my system menu run on?
is it possible to start with my wii from scratch?

any help would be extremely greatly appreciated,
cheers

Try turning off the enabled preloader hacks to see what effect that has on your Wii. There is a conflict between cIOSCORP and some of the preloader hacks, By downgrading-from 3.4 to 3.2 what that FW or cIOSCORP. System menu in FW 3.2 uses IOS50 vs IOS30 for sysmenu 3.2.

cIOSCORP 3.2 cannot be uninstalled, but cIOSCOTP 3.4 comes with an uninstaller.

Gen3sf it seems to have worked a little bit.
a few of my games run for a fair while but others run for a bit then stop working saying the game disc could not be read.
i upgrade cioscorp to 3.4
im not using verbatim dvd-r should i use that?

Yes, as Tealc says, use Verbatim DVD-R. Burn using either ImgBurn or Nero. burn speed try 4X, if no joy, then 2.4X.
