Black screen at startup of out of region games

    Hello!

I've recently started to get black screen on some NTSC and NTSC-J games, it's not a bad burn or bad iso or anything as everything works correctly in Gecko OS, but i don't want to use it because it's a really unconvienent method, and the resolution is fucked up.

Why does this happen? My Wii is pretty much already region free through preloader.
    I am using WiiKey V1 with 1.9S

Your output cables could possibly be damaged even though I doubt that would be the problem or maybe your tv display settings might of been changed.

just been through this with a friend of mine, he has wiikey 1.9s, trying to play NTSC on a PAL machine. Just updated all the ios's to newer versions, fixed some of the games, but he still has a couple he has to use neogamma/gecko for.

Tried installing the newest IOS, but didn't work.
Seems like NeoGamma/Gecko is my only choice, but then i want an answer on this:

Why do the screen get smaller when i try to run my NTSC-J game?
