hmm....

So ive succesfully soft modded my wii and now i have finally bought Verbatim DVD-R's so my problem is that when i play in a backup launcher ive tried neogamma 4,6, and 7 and wiigator gamma 0.3 or whatever and they work fine but all of the sudden it just freezes ive tried it with atleast two diff conduit iso's and a CoD WAW iso same outcome and im burning at many different speeds but ive tried using imgburn but it will just stop burning and ill have to reboot my whole comp to get the disc to stop spinning and sometimes i have to power off and then power on . but anyway so ive tried my generic toshiba image burner not working ive also tried FreeISOBurner not working and ofcourse imgburn not working idk what to do ive searched google and the forums someone said somewhere i cant remeber where but they mentioned that maybe the discdrive stopped spinning because it thought the disc was not in anymore???? idk if you can help please help no criticizing please thank you in advanced

Despite the different games and software, I thought I read that both PCs, Wiis, burners had failure problems. Am I correct in reading that your Wii freezes after loading and playing, you have either 2 PCs or 1 PC and 2 DVD burners that similarly stop functioning? How is your electric current stability in your area/home whatever? Is is possible you are having mini-brownouts? If so, use a power stabilizer, line conditioner, something along those lines.

Still really get a kick out of your signature logo.

Your drive/s could be damaged or the lens might require replacing.

Sorry, I got confused with the really long data-dense run-on sentence. Did you squeeze in a period anywhere? I didn't spot it.

OK-I did see you had both PC and Wii problems, I mistook DVD burning software for DVD burners. The only successful ISO burns for the Wii occur from either ImgBurn or Nero. If ImgBurn is having problems completing the burns, then the source ISOs can be at fault as ImgBurn can be meticulous about this on some systems (tmay account for successful fburns for the Wii drive) or your DVD burner is failing.

So I take it that by generic Toshiba burner you do not mean hardware. I may have overlooked it, but can't read through your sentence again-you aren't using an ASUS DVD burner are you?

Wow 184 words without a full stop (ok there is one but it should be a comma so it doesn't count.)

It makes it very hard to read and understand. Your topic title is rubbish too. Hmm is meaningless.

I wonder if it'd be possible to re-post your issue so we can understand it and potentially help you out?

Thanks
