Its best to read as much as you can about how the Wii works. Just dipping in can get you in all sorts of trouble. This is a really good guide.

    Hope this helps

Yes they are called loaders. Two of the most popular are USB Loader GX, and Neogamma. Search for these to find the install files.
Use this guide and follow it exactly. It does work.
Yes you can have as many loaders as you want.
When you have done that and all is working then look at enhancements.

I did the "hack in 7 minutes" too. It gave me the homebrew channel, backup loader and a dvd player. At first, only homebrew channel worked. I found that installing a CMIOS (rev14 in my case) followed by cioscorp 3.3 (this usually comes packed with a tool for enabling DVD playback). You'll have to take a look around to find them, but they will certainly get everything running fine for you.

While you are searching, you want USB loader GX. Thil will allow you to rip games to and load games from most external hard drives.

    Good luck,

    Dave

don't do them unless you REALLY want to play from disc channel. cioscorp can be very troublesome, bear in mind

I followed the guide mentioned by WiiJohn, and it worked great for me.You can also look at CoverFloader, yet another USB-loader that loads games from a usb device. It can also dump games from the wii to the usb device in about 30 min. It can be found here:

wiicoverflow - Project Hosting on Google Code

I like it because it's the prettiest, but NeoGamma and USB Loader GX are good too.

    Good luck,
    -Lawn
