    wii games buring tutorial?

    hello fellas and gellas,

are there any good tutorials out there for burning wii games?

do you burn the wii games the same as xbox360 iso?

i used imageburn for my xbox and it works but was wondering if i leave the settings the same (for xbox 360 write> options> user specified=1913760) for wii games? bascially, should i change the imageburn settings back to default?

also, is there a software to verify your wii isos like that of the xbox360 (agbx360) so that your isos are good?

furthermore, i ran out of dvd so can i use the verbatim DL+ to burn it or MUST i use single layer?

    thanks all

Okay...to answer your question. Here is what i was always told to you use and i have burned over 300 games and never had a coaster! Don't know what it does, dont care..but it works.

    IMG Burn: Tools>Setting>Write>Write Type>Incremental

The Wii likes DVD-R Single Layer...only 2 games that i know of that are over 4.7gb and thats Super Smash Brothers and one other one...cant remember..lol I would not use DVD+R i have been told and also read in forums that DVD+R make the laser in the Wii work overtime for somereason or another.

To check your WII ISO...always remember that all WII ISO have to be this magic number or it will not load...: 4,699,979,776

I use a program called WiU1.1 it checks to make sure the ISO is right size and will also tell you if your ISO is PAL or NTSC or JAP....you can then patch the ISO to whatever format you need..eg..I DL madded 10 PAL converted to NTSC using WiU1.1 and it worked in my NTSC Wii until NTSC version came out couple days later.

These are the only two programs that i use to burn my own ISO that I either downloaded or ripped from rented Wii games. I have never had a coaster and they ALL work in my Wii. I have two Wii's one softmodded using USBGX Loader and the other with Wii Key and USBGX loader....all copies work in both. I'm sure other will comment on how and what they use, all i can tell you is try and use what works for you. GOOD LUCK AND HAVE FUN!

I am having trouble with this too. A guide would be great! I have extracted iso using wbfs manager and tried to burn discs a few times. So far I have a 0% success rate. I would love to have a hardcopy of all of my games to keep the kids from scratching the originals and also to cover my but in case of harddrive failure.

Check this tutorial. You must burn the games to SL discs.
