How do you burn your backups?

Hello all, I come here to ask and see what everyone uses to burn their games. Since I bought a Drivekey and it says to use img burn thats immediately what I grabbed and used also due to the fact that I just built a new PC and dont have all my usual programs etc etc.

The reason I ask is because most of my burns have been giving me errors in img burn. The games play fine for the most except the usual lag/stuttering during intros and what not but img burn says somethings not right. Take a look.

I dont believe they usually have a problem like this one writing the lead out, but most will say that track 1 is smaller. Is this normal? Is it bad? I am using Verbatim -R disc by the way because my first burn on Memorex +R gave me an error and my second burn didnt even complete, I got an error half way I suppose.

So im just wondering if theres a better way or if anyone is using img burn and not getting these errors. Someone else could make a lot more sense of this.

Im using nero express 8.0 with 16x speed on dvd + R ( but -r are better ) and also you can put on the disk verify check if it's the same as the image file.

I'm burning many game like that and i don't have any problem.

Also since i don,t use chip mod, i don't know if your chip require specific dvd ( like +r or -r ).

Im using softmodded and i don,t have any problem with +r

you dont want dvd+r first off. Those "might" be read by your wii drive BUT it will make the drive work alot harder. That is true with all drives. dvd-r is what your supposed to be using.

Memorex +Rs gave me 2 bad burns I guess so I tried my Verbatim -R and they worked so I never bothered to try again with the other.

I have used both DVD-R's and DVD+R's with no problems. I use NERO Burning ROM which is part of the Nero 9 that I have. (basically click the ISO once, right click and pick "open with Nero Burning Rom") NOt had any problems with the burns, my issues usually relflect upon the wrong or not updated cIOS installed.
