1. Dual, not duel.
2. The only Dual Layer game for Wii at the moment is Smash Bros., I think.
3. Yes, you need a special disc to burn Dual Layer games. They're called Dual Layer discs ^-^
I'm wanting to backup my Super Mario Galaxy game and I was wondering if it is single layer or duel layer? Do I need special disks for duel layered games?

So what does a dual layered disc do to make a game better? Does it let it have better graphics? SSBB does have the best graphics compared to other Wii games IMO.
dual layered just means that the DVD can hold double the amount of information. I.e. about 9 Gb rather than 4.4 Gb.
Whether this means a bigger game or better graphics is down to the programers.
