    Wii Can't Read Backup Disk

I backed up a game to my USB flash drive using USB loader and it created an iso (Which ran the game from my flash drive) on my flash drive and I moved that to my computer.

I used Power2Go that came with Windows Vista to burn the iso to a DVD.

After the iso was on a DVD I put it into my Wii and I went to see if the game worked but it sounded like the Wii wouldn't stop trying to read it. It stayed on a black screen and my Wii was just making weird sounds like it was trying to process the DVD.

Did I do everything right? What are the best kind of DVDs to put the iso on? What does it sound like I did wrong.

    Ok I'll try it.

Is there a kind of DVD that's better to back games up to?

DVD-R is what's recommended, but never DVD RW. Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden brands are the best. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

Well I went to get some disks and they didn't have those brands so I got Sony DVD-R disks. Do DVD+R disks work fine?

You should use -R, better compatible with Wii. If you gotta use +R, set book type to DVD-ROM, other wise Wii will not read +R. Sony is good second choice under Verbs at TYs.

I burnt an iso of one of my games to a sony DVD-R disc using Imgburn and when I put it in my Wii I got the same problem. The game isn't loading and my Wii starts making weird sounds (likes it having a hard time reading the disc or something).

Is there anything I need to set up for the games to work? I'm pretty sure I have the correct cIOS installed.

Use image burn or Nero and do not burn any faster than 4 speed, if you want your laser to last in your wii.
