ive burned the game twice and it seems to burn fine, my wii recognizes the game and seems like there is no problem. but as soon as i hit start game the screen goes black and nothing happens. the wiimote becomes unresponsive as if it cant connect to the wii. how do i fix this?
i figured out the problem. if you get this error. go to settings and do a system update. once thats one it should work perfectly, oh, and the games great!

Im having the same problem. I am running 3.2U w/ .3 gamma backup loader and #002 fix. Also, Virtua Tennis will load through its intro screen, but once the start screen pops up it crashes. All other games (backups and regular) work just fine. To note, I have successfully backed up a different game after the Conduit & VT failures so it is not my media/burner configs.

I also installed the newer ios 38, 53, 55 with no change. The necessary individual file(s) provided in that system update have to be out there, as to aviod a 'normal' update. Has anyone worked their way through this?
this problem seems similiar with the one i am having with the new hackmii installer with hbc 1.03.(the screen goes to black once i update and try to launch it) . from what i heard i think u need ios 60 to make the new hbc run. im going to try tomorrow once its finished downloading to see if it works.
ok this is what i have:
wii 3.2U system menu (never updated further than that)
hbc (twilight hacked, updated through bannerbomb and then the hackmii installer after using wiiscu)
wiigator's backup launcher gamma .3
starfall
a couple of wads, nothing system modifying though (wiiware, vc)
i dont have any other cios installed only the backuplauncher one
what i did to get conduit running:
patched the iso with 002 fix using generic wii patcher and wiiscrubber (awesome tools)
burned the iso through nero at 4x
installed ios 60 +trucha through wiiscu
game works perfectly, hope this helps

the game will load and play via usb hard drive but will not when i burn to dvd-r and try to load through neogamma. it acts like it wants to load b/c when in neogamma when i click on load from dvd all the disk info shows up like it would if it was gonna work then screen goes black, and then in white letters it says this game can not be read please refer to the owners manual, if i eject the dvd-r it will say please reinsert the conduit game? and if i go back to system menu the disc chan. says system update on it if the game is in the drive. i have 4.0 isnt that the newest? im not gonna update it bc im not gonna lose all my stuff and have to reinstall.. i would just like to be able to do both usb and via dvd-r's but if i cant with every game its ok. as long as i can onee way or the other!

i dont use neogamma, but from what i know there is a error 002 fix within the app, meaning that u dont have to patch the iso for it to run, but i dont know how reliable that is. try patching the iso directly before burning for error 002 and then try running it through wii gators backup launcher. in my opinion neogamma is a redundant release, since all my backups work fine if 002 error fix is needed, on the configuration mentioned above on wiigators backup launcher, and wiiscu worked like a charm when i installed ios 60 +trucha through it.
if all else fails and u really need the dvd format, purchase the original
p.s now that i think of it, it may also depend on which iso version u had, since the one i used was the unscrubbed cliiche version
ok ill look into that. i dont need it on dvd . being i ahve the usb hdd but a co worker of mine is having me softmod his sons wii and he wants them on dvd so im tryin to get the games he wants to work on dvd with my wii so that way ( i hope) they will work on his when i softmod his!. thanks,
I only started running backups a week ago and after MUCH reading up on alot of sites, I have been able to run backups no problem so far. I have 3.3U and I have found that scrubbed versions do not work, I think due to the fact that the trucha bug doesnt work on this system version. Didnt feel like messing around with downgrading, so I use only non scrubbed ISOs that are the full ~4gb, use Wii Update Manager and remove any updates(not sure its neccessary with the loader), use bkup loader 0.3 gamme r2, cios38rev13b, and (seems not many people mention this step) run iospatcher which sets the IOS version the game will use, to 249. Then burn with imgburn and voila, burned 10 games this week all good so far! Hope The Conduit works, that game looks sweet!
