Do you NEED A SPECIAL BURNER to back-up Wii Games?

I was wondering if you needed a special burner to read a wii game. And then to write the Wii game?

You need an LG 816* (8160, 8161, etc) drive to read a wii disc.
There are other brands that use this same drive, some other forum had a list of compatible drives.
You don't need a special burner.

not so some ( althought its not to common) wii's can be very touchy what drive has burned the disk ie if its years old ( and maybe an nec grrr crappy writers) also what software used and deffinately what disks are used

winning combination is a decent pioneer writer ritek dye disks and use imgburn to burn the iso off

as far as creating the iso see above but you can use the wii to rip the iso to a sd mem card then transfer it to your comp in stages but this takes wayyyyyyyyyyyy to long
light travels faster than sound thats why some people look bright until they open there mouth

    Wii cyclowiz
xbox 360 premium extreme 5.3 (xbox live banned )

    dreamcast no need for modding
    gamecube viper gc

That's crazy if it is actually that wide open of a system. Everyone has a DVD-R burner nowadays and the internet is the internet so all you would need to do is...nah, it's too easy. Someone, please answer my last post...I HAVE to know.
