    CDburnerXP - Imgburn and Leveling

    Hi everyone,

I've been doing some reading over the past couple of days and I just had a quick question about different burning programs and "leveling" (I think thats what its called )

I've been attempting to do forum searches and can't find any straight foward info and my memory is a bit foggy as to which post I was reading this in , last night , since it was so late - so bare with me if you can ...

BUT someone had mentioned they were having issues with a particular game and another member said something to the effect of :

"when you burned the ISO did you set the leveling in imgburn to 10874"

Now I can't remember the exact number , but i'm pretty sure they said "leveling"

Then a different member chimed in and said that he uses CDburnerXP for burning his games and that it does this automatically ...

So that being said ... Should I bother going with Imgburn for burning my .ISO's to my Verbatim DVD-R media , or go with the CDburnerXP program because it does this level adjusting automatically ???

I apologize for my ignorance on all this but it was real late when I was doing all this reading

    thanks guys

From what I read and was told, just use Imgburn and burn at the lowest speed...which should be 2x. I've even read that burning at 4x is possible, if your having issues with the disc if burned at 2x. And yes Verbatim DVD-R media should be perfect to use as well.

Hi JR , thanks for the clarification ...

No word on the "Level" setting ... or whatever the L word is with a number that corresponds to it ... ???
