having problems with punch out (pal) on a pal wii i keep geting a black screen i thought it was a bad burn burnt 3 copies they all do the same thing screen goes black and wiimote turns off and doesn't turn back on. any suggestion a dummy guide would be good as im a noob.

are you using a soft mod wii or do you have a mod chip built into your wii

i have dl other wii games that haven't given me any problems both ntsc and pal
could brickblock cause this to not work

My actual shop copy bricked my wii, had the same symptoms as above however it does this now when i switch it on

Hello mate,
I had this problem at first when i tried the game. I updated my wii to the latest version and tried burning at x1,it loaded a bit further then said cannot read disk. I switched from the verbatim -r to sony disks and since then its worked fine. So try a different disk or try slowest speed burn.

Did you use the unofficial upgrade or did you do it thru network?? If it was nintendo update it doesn't effect anything if already soft-modded correct?Quote:
