yup, you unzip it and it will become 4.3 gigs again.

    then burn and enjoy

make sure that you're on 3.2 or below or use the ios downgrader to allow trucha bug. i'll elaborate if you have any other questions.

This is good information, thanks alot. I was curious, and since you mentioned, 3.2 or below, I thought I would ask...

I'm about to do the Twilight Hack later this week on a Japanese Wii I recently purchased used (it still has firmware 3.1 on it). Is it recommended to move to 3.2 first and then do the hack (if this is possible)? Or would it be preferred to just stick with 3.1? Any help would be great. Other than that, I think I'm pretty good after reading a bunch of threads here.

I'm guessing this is a long shot, but I know it worked on the DS, but do you know if you have a Japanese game that has online, can u play with others with the US version? For example, I had Kart DS JPN and could play with my friend who had Kart DS US. Is this the same for Kart and SSB on the Wii? Thanks!!

Well, there is no game that updates to 3.2, so i would recommend installing twilight, then installing cios 249 and ios 38, 53, 55 and the patched ios 60.

Then, you can do an internet update to 4.0 and use IOS Downgrader.

So you'll be on 4.0 with no starfall or system menu hacks but you can still run trucha signed games.

Or you could downgrade to 3.2 after upgrading to 4.0.

But you won't want to use cios downgrader to get straight to 3.2 because then you'll probably miss out on quite a few updates.

EDIT: As for the DS thing - I'm not quite sure. There's a random global option, so if you have your friends friend-code you should be able to play with him even if because of the region of the game you have to use a global server.

How do you play with friends online? I have heard about that but don't understand how to do it.
