Having trouble with Wii Dvd Dumper 1.2

Hi, I wanted to dump two of my games to my computer and im running to some problems...
First, I downloaded the cIOS 36 rev 7 and Wii Dvd Dumper 1.2.
On my wii, I was able to install cIOS successfully, and my wii reset after the installation like it was supposed to. Then, I went to the homebrew channel and tried to launch wii dvd dumper. When I clicked "launch", the screen went black, but then it returned to the homebrew channel main screen. It would never actually launch. Can someone tell me how to fix whatever is wrong?
Also, with the cIOS I installed, would I be able to dump with wiihttpd?
And third, in case this never works, how can I uninstall the cIOS?

    Thanks a lot for help.

Did you install dumper through the wad manager? Dumper actually will be another channel on your wii menu which you can dump through. Don't need to launch thru the hbc.
    Hope this helps...........

Heh, I had no idea I use the WAD manager for this. Thanks a lot!

Edit- one more thing, do I keep the wii dvd dumper in the apps folder or put it on the root?

Just keep it in the apps folder............ just install like you would any of the other great things we can install thru wad manager. Then of course you don't need your sd card after that to start the dump but you might use a "clean" one to dump to if you choose to do it that way.
Took me a few false starts before I "mastered" it ;-)

Just use the homebrew browser and load it direct to the wii
Have you used the search function ? used the Tutorial section ?

Did you know you can donate to help the running of this forum ?

Fastest easiest way is to use my windows app to dump directly from your wii. The iso will be one file ready for burning to dvd. It works with any disc that waninkokos dvd dumper can handle.

There is no virus in my file. If it got a virus it was from your pc.
