    Backups Problem

    Hi All!

I am a newb on this site (and indeed the wii modding scene) so please be kind.

I have downgraded my Wii 3.4E to 3.2E using Twilight hack, Installed HBC & WAD Manager v1.3 with no probs. And now able to run homebrew apps etc.

My problem is that I have burned about 6 DVD-R's all at different speeds and used different media but they do not load up with BackUp Launcher or Gecko?

I installed "IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad" but do I need to install "IOS36-64-v1042.wad" in order for my backups to work? Or am I completely off the beaten track with this logic? (Like I said I am new to the Wii scene)

I feel the problem isn't with the dvd-rs that I am using or the speeds that I have been burning at?

    Cheers in advance!

    Hi FaTCaT!

I downgraded from 3.4E to 3.2E and Yes I did I think? (as I have that cIOS fix in my WAD folder on my SD card) would it do any damage to run cIOS fix again?

    Should I install "IOS36-64-v1042.wad"?

    Cheers!

Cheers FaTCaT but that is what I used I think but to no avail?!?!? I think it must be the media I was using? I have ordered verbatim DVD-Rs so I'll try them to see if I get a result!

    Many thanks!
